My story
I understand the moving and downsizing can be a stressful process. I discovered this first hand when supporting my parents to downsize from a large family home into an apartment.
Since then, I’ve been helping people make a positive move to the next phase of their lives. After running a successful business in the homewares industry for over 30 years, it was my time to make a change, so I started Downsize with NRG.
Working with people is my passion, and I tailor my services with a diligent and caring approach to your personal needs.

Our services
Downsize or Resize
Whether the move is for yourself, or you are helping a loved one to relocate, we will assist you through the transition with care and compassion.
Sometimes it’s a specific aspect of your move that you may require help with, or the entire process that you find overwhelming. Downsize with NRG is here to support you by providing hands-on assistance with the aim of minimising the stress for you and your family.
We pride ourselves in giving you the peace of mind that comes from knowing that all aspects of your downsizing process will be sympathetically and diligently taken care of.
- A personalised plan and timeline for the entire process, or just the parts you need
- Project-manage all or parts of the process with personalised support during each phase of your move
- Assistance in organising all your belongings
- Packing of items intended for transport or storage
- Assisting with dispersal of items to family, charity, recycling, sale or disposal
- Recycling of items where possible
- Organising and coordinating trades and services if required
- Coordinating your move, including liaising with movers, packing and unpacking.

Prepare for Sale
We help homeowners unlock the full potential of their property by providing expertise in preparing your home for sale or for new residents.
We can organise the entire process from start to finish, or we can assist you with just the services you may need, such as:
- Developing a customised plan and timeline for the sale of your home, or your move
- Assisting with organising the belongings that will go with you, and those that won’t
- Assisting with dispersal of items to family, charity, recycling, or disposal
- Sourcing and coordinating all trades and services required for pre-sale preparations
- Packing, removals, cleaning… the services you need once your house is sold.
Deceased Estates
The process of sorting through the estate of a loved one during a difficult and emotional time can be stressful. Especially if you are time poor or may not live close by.
We can guide you through the process with empathy and understanding, or manage it entirely from the beginning until the end, whichever you prefer.
We work with you and your family members together with real estate agents, trades and services to prepare the house for sale, a family member, or tenant including:
- Sorting and creation of household inventory
- Guidance and support in deciding which items go to family, friends, charity or for sale
- Recycling of items where possible to avoid unnecessary waste
- Coordinating trades to prepare the house or sale or occupation
- Organising final rubbish removal and cleaning.
